On 20 and 21 September, Margarida Madeira, Coordinator of the German Desk Moneris was in Germany, where she participated in the annual meeting of the German members of the MSI Global Alliance network, which took place in the town of Rheda – Wiedenbrück, in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, organized by the consultant Wortmann & Partner.
In this meeting were discussed several topics related to the evolution of accounting and tax consulting activity, the challenge of digitization and the arrival of FinTech in this business area. The economic problems that this activity is currently face were also discussed, in particular the selection and recruitment of professionals as well as the change in their profile, as well as the overall situation in Germany at present and expectations for the future.
On the sidelines of this event, Moneris also met with the new CEO of MSI Global Alliance, Andrew Leck, who wished the greatest success in this new challenge and with whom he shared the challenges of new businesses, more global, transversal to various jurisdictions, which require an increasing multidisciplinarity of skills and interconnection between network members in different parts of the world.
