Exceptional Measures – Amendment to Law No. 10-A/2020 of 13/03
Decree-Law No. 14-F/2020 was published, which aims to adapt the measures approved by the Government to effectively prevent the proliferation of recorded cases of CONTAGIon of COVID-19 to the needs of Portuguese citizens. Thus, it was identified, on the one hand, the need to make improvements in relation to the measures of reduction or suspension in situations of business crisis regulated in Decree-Law No. 10-G/2020, of March 26, as well as the need to provide for the possibility of approval of market containment and limitation measures, such as maximum pricing or centralized monitoring of stocks, regulating them in Decree-Law No. 10-A/2020 of March 13.
Late payment of rents – Execution rules
Ordinance No. 91/2020 of April 14 was published, which defines, the terms in which the demonstration of the income break for the purpose of applying that exceptional regime to situations of inability to pay housing rents due from April 1, 2020 and until the month following the end of the state of emergency is made.
