anuarioturismo.jpg

An edition dedicated to sustainability and how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) align with the Tourism strategy.

As usual, we gathered for a group of Moneris experts, but also a large panel of guests, to analyze and discuss practices and trends of what is best done in tourism in Portugal.

In this 2020 Tourism Yearbook, Moneris analyzes how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) align with the Tourism 2027 strategy and look at those that are sustainable practices in the Tourism sector, exploring innovations in processes, non-financial reporting, digitalization and sustainable investments.

We also look at the main indicators of the sector, which reflect a year of growth in 2022, against all expectations, and a 2023 that is surpassing pre-pandemic values, in all indicators analyzed.

This year, once again, the yearbook. Moneris’ tourism team had contributions from:

  • Nuno Fazenda, Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce and Services
  • Miguel J. Martins, Partner at 3xP Global
  • Sofia Santos, CEO of Systemic
  • Catarina Valença Gonçalves, Managing Director of Spira,
  • Adolfo Mesquita Nunes, Partner at Gama Glória and Former Secretary of State for Tourism
  • Paula Antunes, Director of APAVT
  • Luis Mexia Alves, CEO of Discovery Hotel Management

As well as our Monerris specialists, who focus on diverse and structuring topics, such as:

  • the 2027 Tourism Strategy;
  • digital transformation in the sector;
  • non-financial reporting;
  • EU funds for sustainable investment;
  • the paradigmatic case of ports and cruises;
  • the analysis of sectoral indicators in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023;
  • the outlook for tourism activity.
