Calls are open to support the Hiring of Highly Qualified Human Resources for SMEs in the North, Center and Alentejo.
This incentive benefits micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the North, Centre and Alentejo (NUTS II) regions, which aim to hire human resources with a qualification level of 6 (bachelor’s degree), 7 (master’s degree) or 8 (doctorate and post-doctorate).
With a non-repayable Funding Rate of 50%, the following are eligible for support:
- The employee’s basic salary (set of all remuneration of a certain and permanent nature subject to tax taxation and declared for the purposes of the worker’s social protection);
- The respective compulsory social charges, i.e. expenses with Social Security and insurance against accidents at work;
- The costs of Holiday and Christmas Allowances.
The closing date for applications varies by region, so the following closing dates are set:
- North Region: March 28, 2024
- Alentejo Region: July 31, 2024
- Central Region:
- Low-Density Territories: December 27, 2024
- Other Territories: December 20, 2024
