In this round table promoted by the Economic Journal and dedicated to the “Future of Accounting”, which took place in the PLMJ auditorium in Lisbon, topics such as digitisation of the activity, the challenges and opportunities of digitisation for certified accountants, the growing importance of sustainability and ESG criteria, the prospects for the activity in 2022/2023 and the challenge of attracting and retaining talent will be addressed.

Filipe Alves, director of je, welcomed what was followed by the intervention of Paula Franco, bastonária of the Order of Certified Accountants. The panel of the round table had the contríbutes of Armando Inocentes, partner of Moneris; Isaque Ramos, lawyer and partner of the Tax area of PLMJ; Luís Batista, partner and head of outsourcing at Mazars; Mário Moura, CEO of Mário Moura Contabilidade and Vítor Pinho, CEO of Cloudware.
