The State Budget for 2019 brings several changes in taxation for families and businesses.

In particular, the Economic Journal explains the main changes in tax and, with the help of renowned experts, presents the best proposals and solutions to optimise your tax burden.

The 2019 State Budget, discussed in parliament, consisted of the last budgetary year of this parliamentary term.

The final document adopted has the merit of promoting stability and consolidation of fiscal policy that has been profiled in previous years, and by different governments, based, however, on a continued and difficultly sustainable high pressure Tax.

There is therefore no major corrective measures that call into question the continued tax asphyxia to which companies and families have been subjected.

On the side of the companies, it should be stressed the possibility that it is granted to communicate to the Tax Authority the exemption from the performance of special payments on account, if the taxable persons have timely delivered the Model 22 and the IES in the two previous exercises.

This will improve the liquidity of many SMEs.

It should also be noted that more beneficial measures were introduced in the RFAI and DLRR.

On social terms, emphasis is on support for families and businesses that have been affected by fires, particularly prominently, with the creation of specific funds and a set of tax benefits.

On the other hand, punitive measures are intensified for non-compliance measures in forest management and preventive measures are promoted for firefighters and civil protection, and tax benefits are also created to fix populations in the inner regions.

The simplified scheme no longer has as minimum collection tax base threshold the 60 % of the annual value of the minimum guaranteed monthly remuneration, with a view to its reformulation by the end of the first half of 2019 with the submission of proposals for the determination of the on the basis of technical-economic coefficients.

At the level of VAT, the measure that generated the greatest controversy lies in extending the vat down from 13 to 6% compared to all shows.

Finally, we would highlight that discounts for Social Security are established when the exercise of independent activity with professional activity is accumulated on behalf of others.
