Aimed at SMEs in the Lisbon Region, this incentive supports the hiring of highly qualified human resources with a view to promoting employment, increasing the proportion of highly qualified personnel in companies, as well as densifying interactions, collaboration and the dissemination of knowledge.
The professionals to be hired must have qualification levels 6 (bachelor’s), 7 (master’s) or 8 (doctorate and post-doctorate), as a way of acquiring critical mass and supporting the development of processes that promote business innovation.
Wage costs with hiring (all remuneration of a certain and permanent nature), as well as mandatory social charges (social security expenses and occupational accident insurance) are eligible.
The beneficiaries of this measure are micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (NUTS II).
The support to be awarded is a non-refundable incentive (lost fund), with a support rate of 40% and applications are open until August 30th.
