Moneris will be present at the 6th edition of the Advocatus Summit (ECO, which will take place on April 12 and 13 at the CCB in a mixed format (face-to-face and digital). This participation is made by its presence as a sponsor of the event, but also as in the organizer and dynamizer of the panel discussion “Human Centric Legaltech: technology as an accelerator of the democratization of justice and the training of professionals in the sector”
This panel that will be on the 13th, at 11 am, will have the participation of Anabela Pedroso (Corporate Adviser, CEiiA – Engineering and Development Centre), Marisa Monteiro Borsboom ( Vice of the European Legal Tech Association), Raul Martins Valley (Coordinator of the Portugal Digital Mission Structure) and the moderation of Nuno Martins Cavaco (Partner of Moneris Innovation Lab), we will explore how technology can be used to create a more human-centered system and how it can contribute to the democratization of justice and the empowerment of citizens and their professionals. Topics such as the interoperability of public and private systems, the challenges of govtech/legaltech and the rise of startups will be addressed, we will discuss some developments in European regulation and we will note the main trends and technologies that may influence the sector in the short term.
