Created in order to mitigate the impacts of the chemical crisis in the cultural sector, the Guarantee Culture Program will provide non-reimbursable support to encourage cultural and artistic activities, in particular the realization of cultural creation or programming projects, which may cover presentations and physical or digital formats.
They may benefit from this incentive micro-enterprises and SMEs, of any kind and in any legal form, including individual entrepreneurs with organised accounting, provided that they have, principally, a cultural activity (the CAE so covered can be found here).
The projects presented must have a framework in the following thematic areas: performing arts, visual arts, disciplinary crossing, cinema, museology, books.
The supports are lost, with the following distribution:
- incentive of 75% for SMEs.
- incentive of 90% for micro-enterprises.
The minimum investment for each project must be €5,000, with the maximum limits being:
- €50,000 for micro-enterprises;
- €75,000 for small businesses;
- 100,000€, for medium-sized enterprises.
Applications are already open and end with the depletion of the planned allocation of EUR 30 million.
How can Moneris help?
Our Crisis Management team, in addition to the support of your usual Moneris manager, is available to analyze with you the measures in force, ensuring a holistic performance in the areas of taxation, labor, financial, technological and support and incentives, with the commitment to ensure the best solutions, adapted to the context of each sector and each company.
In the area of Support and Incentives, agility in the submission of applications remains essential, as many of the support programmes under COVID-19 automatically close when the allocation is exhausted. It is also essential to have a structured service in the identification and selection of means and incentives made available to companies and entrepreneurs.
