Agroglobal 2020 has moneris agricultural award

Agroglobal, the largest professional agricultural event in Portugal, has this year a digital edition on September 9, 10 and 11, which brings online conferences, a virtual exhibitors’ fair and the Moneris Agricultural Award.
With a strong position with the agricultural and agro-industrial sector, Moneris joins Agroglobal in this first edition of the Moneris Agricultural Award, which aims to distinguish the best exhibitor from Agroglobal 2020, in the criteria of dissemination and communication of products or services, based on indicators of innovation, competitiveness and internationalization, as well as its contribution to the national agricultural and agroindustrial sector.
Moneris’ Skills Centre will offer the winner a corporate finance advisory grant worth 10,000 euros.

All agroglobal 2020 exhibiting companies with presence in the virtual plant disclosed by the organization’s media partners during the event;
Moneris services in the area of Corporate Finance in the equivalent amount of 10,000 euros (representing 60 hours of consulting) (*);
The jury is appointed by Moneris.

(*) The winning company will be informed within one week of the Agroglobal 2020 terminus.

Digital exhibitors and live streaming conferences

Agroglobal’s virtual fair consists of 477 exhibitors, divided into the following areas: Irrigation; Machinery and Equipment; Energy and Communications; Agroforestry and Livestock Production and Industry; Seeds, Agrochemicals and Fertilizers; Banks, Insurance and Consultancy; Teaching, Research and Official Bodies and Media Partners.

In parallel, there will also be a cycle of conferences on current agricultural issues that can be followed in live streaming,with the following themes:

September 9
Morning – Precision Agriculture
Afternoon – Production forest challenge and post-2020 CAP

September 10
Morning – New crops and organic farming
Late- “Almond Summit”

September 11
Morning – Portugal in the future, strategic vision for Agriculture, Food and Territory
Afternoon- Strategies “Green Deal”, “Farm to Fork” and Biodiversity 2030 in the CAP and Portuguese Strategy in the CAP

The auditorium where these sessions will take place will be installed in the fair grounds to virtually “transport” visitors to the Agroglobal environment, not least because there will be fieldwork in the cultures installed, and never neglected, by the companies that carried out tests and demonstrations.
