In the context of the new programs to support companies, the Normative Order was released today establishing a mechanism to support the recovery of business activity, called the Adapt Tourism Program.
With an allocation of EUR 5 million for lost fund support, this programme is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the Tourism sector to support the adaptation and investment effort in their establishments, allowing the adjustment of the methods of organization at work and relationship with customers and suppliers to the post-covid-19 context.
Projects with a minimum expenditure of EUR 2,500 and a maximum duration of implementation of 12 months, which are not started at the time of submission of the application for support, will be supported.
Eligible projects include the costs of requalification, modernisation and expansion of existing spaces, including adaptation works, to meet the needs arising from the covid-19 pandemic and the acquisition and installation of automatic payment devices, including self-check-in and self-check-out systems, preferably those using contactless technology.
The support is lost and has a limit of 75% of eligible expenditure, up to a maximum of EUR 15,000 per company. In the case of companies which have been administratively closed in the context of the pandemic situation (bars, nightclubs or amusement parks), the limit on support is now 85% of eligible expenditure, up to a maximum of EUR 20,000 per company.
